“I've done a bunch of big races (Kona, Clearwater, ITU Worlds, St. Anthony's, Alcatraz, USTA Nationals, etc...) and yours are year after year, by far, the best managed events. From the registration process to the finish line you and your team nail it!”

Boulder Peak Accolades
Inside Triathlon, in its Jan/Feb 2006 issue, rated the Boulder Peak as the 4th Best Triathlon in the U.S. behind only Escape from Alcatraz, Hawaii Ironman, and Wildflower - great company!
USA Triathlon, the governing body of the sport, officially named the Boulder Peak Triathlon as the 2004 “Large Triathlon of the Year (more than 250 entrants).”
USA Triathlon Times, the official newsletter of USA Triathlon, referred to the event as “exceptionally well organized, very challenging, and beautiful venue.”
Listed as "one of North America's Best Triathlons" by Triathlete Magazine and one of America’s Top 15 classic races in the United States, per Inside Triathlon’s TriGuide 2005.
Boulder Triathlon Series
The Boulder Peak Triathlon is the second of three races comprising the 2009 Boulder Triathlon Series. The other two are the 5430 Sprint Triathlon on Sunday, June 21st, and the 5430 Long Course Triathlon on August 9th. A special Boulder Triathlon Series registration package rate for all three races is available. There will be $16,000 in cash and gift certificates from sponsors for the top age group finishers in the Series.
For the 5th straight year, Boulder's Holiday Inn Express will be our Host Hotel. HIE is the closest hotel to our race venue and courses; and, also, offers a great $94 rate per room, as well as a wonderful free expanded continental breakfast, for our athletes. Rooms are limited, though; so, call 303.442,6600 today to make your reservations. Make your reservation now.
70 and over - Free Entry
In Honor and memory of Howard Garcia, all triathletes age 70 and over receive free entry to the Boulder Peak Triathlon. See Register page for details.
5430 Charities
The 5430 Boulder Triathlon Series has designated the Foundation Fighting Blindness as our official charity. The cure for blindness is truly at a remarkable point in history; differentiating itself as one of the diseases that has hope of actually being cured. They are really so incredibly close to treatments and cures and it is only a matter of dollars at this point. There are at least six clinical trials currently in their final stages ready to find a cure, and our dollars can make a difference. Each dollar raised will go directly to these studies and further research.
Please help this effort when you register. Donations can be made as you complete registration, processing fees will not be added to your specified amount (your event receipt can be used for your tax purposes). Please help us out on this incredibly worthy mission. For more info visit www.blindness.org as well as www.racetocureblindness.org
