5430 Sports' 2007 triathlon series events achieved 93%, 93%, and 92% diversion rates, meaning at each event only 7% of the total waste collected went to the landfill – the highest diversion rates for any Boulder County event in 2007!


5430 Sports derives its name from the altitude of Boulder – 5,430 feet. Interestingly, according to “Inside Triathlon” magazine, the average time differential between the men and women winners at Ironman Hawaii from 1986 to 2006 was also 54:30 … pretty cool!
